Money Museum: Gold!

Geldmuseum - Interactief touchscreen

A brilliant world

The ‘Gold!’ exhibition was arranged by the Money Museum in a temporary annex of Museum Catharijneconvent near the entrance hall of what used to be the convent. In collaboration with designer Todd van Hulzen, Studio Louter designed the concept, the layout and multimedia for this space.

In the hall the visitor learns more about the value of gold. The walls are decorated with 13,750,000 golden stones: the world supply of gold in gold bars. By means of an interactive projection on that golden material the visitor can discover what that gold is used for. With a life-size electro game the visitor can learn what this gold is worth. The exhibition served as an entrance for the exhibition ‘Gold!’, designed by artist and designer AZIZ.
