Sistine Chapel ceiling projection
Michelangelo in Haarlem
For the Michelangelo exhibition, we have created an eight-metres-wide ceiling projection in a plain black space. Sketches turn into paintings, preliminary studies morph into the eventual, famous figures on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Visitors gaze at the changing ceiling sitting, or even lying in the black box. A silencing sensation.
