Islamic art is often based on patterns. Kids can find out how it works first-hand.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi showcases more than 600 works of art and illuminates relationships between cultures. At its centre, under a huge dome, is the Children’s Museum. Studio Louter developed an interactive drawing application for the space.

Kids can follow in the footsteps of Islamic artists by making their own geometric flower patterns using the application. All the designs are available for viewing, serving as potential inspiration for other budding artists.
