Africa is hot right now on the fashion front. Visitors to the Tropenmuseum can discover the clothes and the places generating buzz.
On the catwalk
In the exhibition, designed as a catwalk in an urban landscape, visitors can stroll through four African cities. Behind the collection, large backdrop projections give a glimpse of the various fashion scenes. The designers themselves comment on the exhibited pieces in interactive snippets from their Instagram posts, vlogs and videos. Visitors can even put together their own lookbook and take a piece of the exhibition home with them.
