Communications Assistant

Communications Assistant

 

for 24 to 32 hours a week at our studio in Amsterdam.

 

What will you do?

● Together with the various teams, and where possible in consultation with communication departments of our clients, you take care of the production of the content for our website, social media, press, and publicity. Together with photographers and filmmakers, you ensure that our unforgettable visitor experiences are captured and seen by our audience.

● Our projects are often ‘award-winning’ and you coordinate entries for various contests.

● You are co-organizer of our Studio Louter Café, the event where relevant speakers from the museum world enter into dialogue with inspiring professionals outside the field.

● You generate attention for our international projects via the right communication channels and actively look for the right means to do this.

 

Who are you?

● You have a passion for culture and history and you like to visit museums.

● You are curious, critical and ask questions.

● You write flawlessly in Dutch and English.

● You communicate clearly, accurately and enthusiastically.

● You can easily start new projects, you can switch between many different projects and you can also complete them without any problems.

● You work in a structured and planned way in order to keep an overview of the sometimes hectic and creative productions in our studio.

● You work effortlessly with Microsoft Office, WordPress, MailChimp, are familiar with different social media channels and preferably you also know how to work with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign and Illustrator).

● Guidance by the communications manager, but after a while and in consultation according to your own insight, you will work more and more independently.

● The salary depends on relevant work experience and we use the terms and conditions of employment of BNO, the Dutch Organization for Professional Design. Secondary employment conditions include travel allowance, pension and an annual museum card.

Software Developer

Studio Louter is looking for a Software Developer.

 

Job description
As a Software Developer you work in a multidisciplinary team. In this team you produce interactive installations that you will deliver on specific locations in The Netherlands and also abroad. You’ll be working on projects together with a content producer, a (UX) designer and sometimes with animators and film makers.

 

In the team you – together with a senior developer – are responsible for the development of software. That means that you are working as a full stack developer for a variety of hardware. Quite a broad range of activities.


We therefore expect you to work independently, to be enthusiastic and to learn a lot of new things quickly.

 

Job requirements
● proven experience in some of the following languages ​​/ techniques: Javascript, HTML, CSS, C # and Unity
● experience with NodeJS is a plus, because we work a lot with this
● you are able to present one or more completed (school) projects.

Internship visual design

Studio Louter is looking for an intern visual design.

 

Job description
As an intern visual design, you are a member of the interaction team. Together with developers, designers, researchers and content producers you work simultaneously on several productions of Studio Louter. You make designs for interactive installations, graphic material, games and presentations.

 

Job requirements
You are able to work with Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
You study at an HBO education preferably graphic design, multimedia design or human-computer interaction.
You work independently and have a flexible working attitude.
You are enthusiastic and have an eye for detail.
You have a hands-on mentality.
You like to work in a dynamic creative company.
You contribute to the day to day office management tasks.

You are preferably fluent in English.

 

Working conditions

You will receive an internship- and travel allowance including vacation days. The duration and start of the internship is in consultation, we prefer at least 5 months.

Internship content designer

Studio Louter is looking for an intern content producer.

 

Job description

The content producers are the heart of the content of the company. A team of (art) historians are responsible for editorial work, research and writing texts for films, exhibitions and games.

You participate as a full member of the interaction team and you are involved in several current productions of Studio Louter;

You are responsible for research in the field of content.

You write texts.

During your internship, you will have at least one presentation for the entire Studio Louter team on a topic of your choice.

You contribute to the day to day office management tasks.

 

Job requirements

We are looking for someone with a relevant education at an academic level. Preferably you are a master student. Excellent command of the English or Dutch language is required. It is important that you are independent, enthusiastic and precise and that you are able to withstand the hectic pace of a creative company.

 

Working conditions

Internship and travel allowance, vacation days. Duration internship in consultation, preferably at least 5 months.
